American leaders must realize Venezuela is no better off with Delcy just like Brazil is no better off with Lula. When people choose using a fair system, they will choose freedom over fear!

Hope springs eternal when serious fearless leaders willingly walk the streets to hear from people whose freedoms have been stolen by corrupt, tyrannical leaders.

Presidential Oath of Office

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, PROTECT and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Article II, Section 1, Clause 8.

Yesterday, I emphasized PRESERVE. Today, I want to call attention to another word in the presidential oath: PROTECT.

The federal oath under 5 U.S.C. § 3331 requires those covered by it to SUPPORT AND DEFEND our Constitution. The presidential oath expressly includes the obligation to PRESERVE and PROTECT it as well.

To PROTECT requires vigilance. It requires recognizing threats to our constitutional freedoms and taking lawful action before those freedoms are lost. It demands judgment, courage, and an unwavering commitment to the limits our Constitution places on government power.
