Krishanti O'Mara Vignarajah is the President and CEO of Global Refuge, formerly Lutheran Immigration and Refugee. She previously served as the policy director for First Lady Michelle Obama in the Obama White House and as a Senior Advisor under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Secretary of State John Kerry at the State Department.

Vignarajah earns half a million dollars annually to help "resettle" refugees and undocumented immigrants in the United States. According to the organization's 2023 tax return, out of a total support of $228 million, $221 million came from taxpayer money.
