Prayer is the most powerful weapon known to man. I’ve seen it firsthand. Before heading into combat, even those who weren’t men of faith would fall silent and pray, because we all knew the reality: we might not come back.

In those silent moments, prayer anchored us, gave us strength, and reminded us of what we were fighting for.

That is why the very first argument in our Bill of Rights was freedom of religion. This nation was founded on Judeo-Christian values, and our founders were fearless in defending them.

We must be just as fearless today.
