SITREP on IRAN:
My message below is to the Iranian people protesting, fighting and sacrificing their lives for their freedom (this is for those who can hear this and for those who can help get the message out).
First, I don’t want any American troops on the ground inside of Iran (we can’t afford it and the American people won’t support it). But, I do want our political leaders to be 100 percent in support of the millions of freedom loving Iranian people in their efforts toward achieving victory over the Khamenei dictatorship that has plunged Iran into a nation of darkness for decades.
That may not matter or make sense to many, but leveraging American political, economic, and diplomatic support to cause the regime to collapse on itself is very achievable.
I want to briefly tell an American story because I think it matters in the historic scheme of revolutionaries who fought for freedom over tyranny.
In our own American Revolution when we weren’t even a nation yet, our first General, General George Washington, feared the American Revolution was lost in late 1776 due to a "game is up” type scenario caused by a crumbling, short-term enlistment army, severe lack of supplies, and losing too many battles.
General Washington believed the lack of authority in the Continental Congress to demand resources also hindered success.
Key factors are listed below that General Washington believed were leading to his defeat followed by a brief “so what” for the Iranian people.
1. Short Enlistments & Troop Loss
So What? Don’t give up. Despite your numerous losses, you still have the numbers to win.
2. Lack of Supplies & Resources.
So What? Don’t waste whatever equipment or any resources you have on hand. One man fighting for the cause of freedom is stronger than 100 men defending tyranny.
3. Lack of Centralized Authority.
So What? This is where you are lacking. Leaders must rise up from the masses. They exist among your groups. Find them, encourage them, follow them. Most important, listen to them and stand together as one.
4. Military Defeats & Low Morale.
So What? You’ll face many tactical defeats but the taste of freedom must be cherished for that long term sweetness your children and grandchildren deserve.
5. Loss of Public Confidence.
So What? Do not lose hope. Confidence is a morale and combat multiplier. Seek it from your leaders and inspire it through each other.
These five factors led to the crisis in December 1776, forcing General Washington to launch the surprise attack on Trenton to prevent the complete collapse of the American cause. A cause that enabled America to remain free for 250 years (and we will not easily give our freedom away).
That master stroke of strategic genius by General Washington won our independence. Therefore, this message goes out to the Iranian people from an American who understands your culture and has studied and participated in battles and wars (and in your neighborhood too).
I can say, without question, that you too have it in your DNA to achieve victory, you have it in your leadership, and you have it in your own history.
Bear the tragedy and the many sacrifices of this struggle. This is your patriotic revolution that can lead to generations of freedom for your children, your great people and your once great nation.
The American people are currently captured in our own struggle to protect our very freedoms right here in our homeland (and we will). But just know that American patriots will be your biggest champions when you have taken the final hill and achieved the victory, freedom, peace, and independence that you and your nation richly deserves.
God bless you and know that millions of American patriots stand with you in your struggle for freedom.
