There are 8 men and women I think about every Memorial Day. I have for more years than I care to count.
I had just taken command of a battalion when my operations NCO walked into the command post with the kind of quiet in his voice that rearranges a man's life. A helicopter was down. I started walking up the road toward the smoke. When I came over the rise, there was no helicopter. Only a black patch burned into the earth in the rough outline of where the aircraft had come to rest. Inside that outline, 8 small bumps. The silence that followed is one I have never been able to describe to anyone who was not standing there with me.
33 years in the uniform of this Nation taught me that the fallen are not asking for our tears. They are asking for our fidelity. They are asking whether we will defend the Constitution they died protecting and whether we will stand watch over this Republic in peace as faithfully as they stood watch over it in war.
This Memorial Day, stand up a little straighter, hold your children a little closer, love your Country a little louder, and pray a little harder. The watch they kept must not be dropped on our shift.
This gentlemen has no idea what he’s talking about nor how monumentally challenging an all out war against an alliance of Iran, China, Russia, Pakistan, North Korea (all nuclear armed nations) and other loosely aligned nations and ideologies would be.
He also has zero idea about the readiness, preparation, scalability or resourcing required that our military is at this time.
He also states our “military knows what they signed up for” flippantly as though the military is some separate appendage of the United States constitution that does what it does without the full consent of the American people — it does NOT! Our military is an extension of our nation, performs its mission based on the direction of the commander in chief and does so, hopefully, with the full consent of Congress.
Mr. POTUS I know you are influenced by what you see on Fox News. Please tread carefully with statements that this man, who seems to be a friend of yours, is making. He is asking the nation to go to war ...
Breaking: China caught in an ACT of WAR!
If China intentionally and blatantly “interfered” in our U.S. 2020 presidential election to affect the outcome, why isn’t that considered an act of war?

Let me tell you something straight up—President Trump’s tariffs are a bold, decisive strike for America’s soul. This isn’t just about trade; it’s about taking back what’s ours—our jobs, industries, and our pride. For too long, we’ve let the globalists and the weak-kneed elites sell us out to foreign powers who don’t give a damn about the American worker.
