It is a significant moment when an institution committed to serious strategic thought expands its reach beyond borders. The Gold Institute for International Strategy is doing exactly that, formally taking its place as an international organization with the First European Economic and Security Summit in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 27 and 28 May 2026.
The Summit will convene senior policymakers, security experts, and economic leaders from across the European Union, the United States, the Middle East and other allied and partner nations for a thoughtful and timely dialogue on the future of the Balkan region and beyond. Discussions will address the evolving transatlantic security architecture, economic resilience and regional integration, hybrid threats and information operations, energy and infrastructure corridors, and the role of democratic institutions in underpinning lasting stability.
The Gold Institute's emergence as an international convening body reflects a growing recognition that cooperation between people, cultures, religions, and nations requires shared forums, shared analysis, and shared resolve.
